Ceramic Filler. Intended Use:For the repair of damage on the flat surface and on edges of ceramics, tiles (from matt to high-gloss),natural stone and concrete building blocks (matt). Melamine (kitchen)worktops. Recommended for indoor and outdoor use.
Uses:To repair scratches, holes and edge damage on tiles, ceramics and concrete building blocks in interior and exterior areas. Melt, fill in and level with the Transparent Special Fillers Applicator (161 149).Characteristics:Very hard, water absorption < 1%, melting point at 130°C. Available in 20 colours in 4 cm sticks, please see overview on colour chart.
Remove any loose or splintered parts. The damaged area must be clean, dry and free of grease.Mix colour shade matching to the surface, then apply Ceramic Filler to the damaged area using the melter. Important: Do not set temperature of the melter too high, as wax residues might burn in (discolouration). Do not rub the melter tip against the filler while melting,
as this would result in discolouration of the filler. After cooling down, excess filler should be stripped off with the Transparent Special Fillers Applicator. Do not use any metallic tools (e.g. Metal Planer), as metal abrasion lead to discolourations. Ceramic Filler can be mixed with all König waxes. For a final colour adjustment, any touch-up product from
König can be used. Finally, use the Brush Pen to protect the repaired area from dust and dirt or rather to seal and, if necessary, to adjust the sheen level. With gloss or rather high-gloss surfaces, coat the area filled with Ceramic Filler with Hard Wax (transparent), level and seal with the corresponding clear lacquer.
